AVMA employs a staff who are responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the collection system and wastewater treatment plant, along with all required reporting and documentation as required by the Pennsylvania DEP and US EPA.

LORETTA KENNEDY
OFFICE MANAGER
Lori started working for the Authority in 2002 as Office Manager.
MICHAEL SCHEURING
PLANT SUPERINTENDENT
Mike started in 2020 as a Laborer. He attended classes to obtain his wastewater license and became a licensed wastewater operator in 2024.
MITCHELL ESSER
ASSISTANT PLANT SUPERINTENDENT
Mitch startedin 2022 as a Laborer. He attended RACC wastewater operator classes and became a licensed wastewater operator in 2025. Mitch also obtained his CDL Class B license with a Tanker Endorsement.
GARY HARTMAN, JR.
MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Gary started in 2025 as a Mechanic. He has over 25 years of maintenance experience.

LABORER
Jaden started in 2026. He begins RACC classes in August 2026 to become a licensed wastewater operator.
